House of Prospective Residents of Heaven
Muslimcreed - On the fourth day, Abdullah stalked the man who would be in heaven who was praised by the Prophet SAW.
Prophet Muhammad SAW had various ways to teach knowledge and wisdom to his companions. For example, he points out that there is a distinction between them. That way, a good santri will be interested in getting to know the figure appointed by the Prophet SAW more closely.
The following story illustrates such a situation. In a few days, Rasulullah SAW often said to the audience at the Prophet's Mosque. "Soon, there will come to us a man who will inhabit His paradise." A few moments later, a man in question came.
That's how it is. Shortly before the "special" man came to the assembly, the Prophet SAW always said the same sentence. It happened three days in a row. Of course, his words always surprised the other friends.
"What makes the Prophet praised him? Is it because of the prayer, the zakat, or the fast?" so they thought.
One of the attendees, Abdullah bin Amr bin Ash, could no longer contain his curiosity. The companion of the Prophet SAW took the initiative to find out for himself.
On the fourth day, Abdullah followed the man whom the Messenger of Allah adored. After knowing the location of his house, the son of Amr bin Ash then devised a scenario.
The next day, Abdullah came to the house with the appearance of a traveler. He then knocked on the house of the prospective inhabitant of heaven.
"Assalamu'alaikum," he said.
From behind the door, the voice of the host answered his greeting. The man opened the door and invited the guest to enter.
“I had a fight with my father, then I swore not to come to him for three days. Therefore, if I may, I want to stay with you for three days," Abdullah said.
"Please," said the man. A moment later, the man asked for time to prepare the room to be occupied by his guest.
While there, Abdullah always observed the habits of the host.

Entering the third day, Abdullah's heart began to ache. Because, never found the extraordinary practice of the man.

It is impressed that the man who is called the Prophet (PBUH) will be in paradise, tends to do the obligatory only. However, Abdullah always said good things in front of him. He is also always grateful for the kindness that the host gives to a traveler like himself.
The fourth day came. Abdullah prepares to go home. His heart was almost filled with skepticism, belittling the practice of the prospective inhabitant of heaven.
When permission to go home after staying three days, Abdullah admitted his intention to seek the virtues of the man's practice. To him, he also conveyed the words of the Prophet SAW about himself, who was lucky because he would later become one of the inhabitants of Allah's paradise.
"O servant of Allah," said Abdullah, "really, there was never a quarrel between myself and my father. My purpose of staying at your house is just to find out, what practices make you a candidate for residents of heaven, as the Prophet SAW said."
"By seeing your practice, I will imitate so that I can become like you. However, it turns out that you don't do too much good (sunnah)," he continued.
"That's my routine. I worship and do charity as usual, nothing special, I think," said the man.
"But, how can you achieve something that the Messenger of Allah said so that he calls you a candidate for the inhabitants of heaven?" asked Ibn Amr bin Ash again.

The host thought for a long time, but the answer was the same. "I have no practice, except all that you have seen during these three days," he said.
So Abdullah asked permission and said goodbye. However, not far from Abdullah's house the man called again. "O Abdullah!" he said, gasping for air. The summoned stopped in his tracks.
"It is true that my practice was only what you saw during those three days. However, know that I have never cheated on anyone, Muslim or otherwise. I also never envy or envy people for the gifts that Allah has given to them," said the man.
Hearing this, Abdullah bin Amr was amazed. He was immediately embarrassed, how this morality is a "door" that leads a person to the status of an expert in heaven.
