Picture of the Hell that Allah created according to Islam
Hell is believed to be a place of vengeance for sinners. Those who disbelieved in Him and those who disobeyed His Shari'a.
It is a loss for those who waste their lives if they will eventually become residents of hell. Because hell is a place of greatest humiliation and loss and there will be no one to help, as explained in Surah Ali Imran verse 192.
In hell there are various torments, sufferings and sorrows that are difficult to describe. However, there are still those who question the truth of hell. It's as if they don't believe that hell exists.
Quoted from a book entitled "Heaven and Hell" written by Umar Sulaiman Al-Asyqar, AthThahawi that, "heaven and hell have been created and will never disappear. Allah has created heaven and hell before all of his creatures and has appointed a resident for each of them. -each."
Although this opinion has been denied by the Mu'tazilah and Qadariyah leaders. According to them, heaven and hell will only be created on the Day of Resurrection. This opinion is driven from a misunderstanding of the actions of Allah. So they think if the creation of heaven and hell before the Day of Judgment, then it is a futile act.
They also oppose texts that are different from their own rules. So they say bid'ah to those who do not agree with him.
In fact, there are many verses of the Koran that mention that hell exists. And it will be a recompense for those who neglect Allah's commandments. Some verses that explain the existence of hell include:
وَاتَّقُوا النَّارَ الَّتِي أُعِدَّتْ لِلْكَافِرِينَ
Meaning: And protect yourselves from the fire of hell, which is prepared for the disbelievers. (Surat Ali Imran: 131)
Likewise with the form or image of hell. All have been mentioned in the verses of the Quran. Even though it is very difficult for Muslims to believe in it, many still ignore it.
As quoted from the book entitled "Heaven and Hell," that hell is wide and wide. Hell contains people who are big, and have molars as big as Mount Uhud. And the distance between his shoulders as far as three days' journey. Nevertheless hell is able to accommodate many disbelievers or sinners and other inhabitants.This verse shows how vast hell is. So that jinn and humans can be thrown into it.
Hell is like a mill that will be dropped into it millions of tons of seeds. And if the seeds run out, then the mill continues to spin waiting for additional seeds to be added. Seeds that are likened here are unbelievers and sinners who have been promised to go to hell.
As narrated from Anas, from the Prophet Muhammad said:
لا تزال جهنم يلقى فيها وتقول هل من مزيد، حتّى يضع رب العزة فيها قدمه، فينزوى بعضها إلى بعض فتقول: قط، قط، بعزتك وكرمك
Meaning: Into Hell (the occupants) are constantly thrown, and he keeps asking, 'Is there anything extra?', until finally Rabbul-Izzati put His feet in it, then Hell shrank and said, "Enough. Enough. For Your majesty and glory. (Muttafaq 'Alaih)
So that's the approximate picture of hell that will be inhabited by those who deserve to be in it. May we all be saved from the torments of hell. Amen
