Among all the uncles of the prophet, Hamzah bin Abdul Muttalib was the closest person to him, even since childhood after he was born. This is not surprising because he belongs to the family of Muhammad bin Abdullah, he can be said to be a little uncle, because his birth age is only two years apart from the Messenger of Allah. In fact, both of them were breastfed by Tsuwaibah, the slave of the evil ashes. From here Hamzah bin Abdul Muttalib can be considered as a brother according to the Prophet.

Apart from being an uncle and brother to the Prophet Muhammad SAW, Hamzah bin Abdul Muttalib also had a close relationship with the Prophet from his mother's path. Take a look at the following genealogy: Rasulullah SAW had a mother named Aminah bint Wahab bin Abdul Manaf bin Zahrah. Meanwhile, Hamzah's mother was named Halah bint Wahab bin Abdul Manaf bin Zahrah. Zahrah can be said to be the great-grandmother of the Prophet's mother.

These two children grew up together. Having fun, playing games, joking, became the daily activities of the two of them. The closeness between the two of them is like two close friends who can't be separated anymore.

When he decided to marry Khadijah bint Khuwalid, the Messenger of Allah was confused about finding the right person to propose to his future wife, after searching it turned out that in his eyes there was no one more reliable than Hamzam bin Abdul Muttalib. Finally the two of them set out to ask Khadija to be the wife of the Messenger of Allah from her father. After the age of both of them grew up, there were differences in character between these two human children, the Messenger of Allah became a person who liked to contemplate and be alone before finally revelation came down to him and lived a holy life.

Meanwhile Hamzah bin Abdul Muttalib became a handsome young man and was quite reckoned with in the midst of his people. His days are only filled with playing and competing. Not infrequently he rode his camel and challenged young men his age to race a camel with him. He also often challenged the Meccan youths to a strong fight to drink khamr.
